TxDOT Physical Exams

We Offer TxDot Physical Examinations

A DOT physical examination is a medical examination that is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for commercial drivers in the United States.

The U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) sets the standards for medical examinations, which are designed to ensure that all commercial drivers are medically qualified to operate a motor vehicle and do not pose a safety risk to themselves or others.

The DOT physical examination includes:

  • Vision screening, including color vision

  • Hearing screening

  • Blood pressure measurement

  • Body mass index measurement

  • Urinalysis, including drug testing
